Job Title: Seasonal CDL Class B Delivery Driver / Service Technician

Full Time: Monday - Friday, Dayshift ( October
- April)

Beaudry Oil & Propane is looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class B Delivery Driver / Service Technician to join our Propane Division. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering propane and fuel to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers throughout our service area. You'll operate company delivery vehicles, provide excellent customer service, and assist with service-related tasks as needed.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate and maintain a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane/fuel from specified destinations
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in a safe manner
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Adhere to all traffic laws and all DOT regulations, and company policies
• Perform routine maintenance on the delivery truck

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Valid CDL Class B driver's license with Hazmat and tank endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds GVW
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderately loud when in the field.
