Accounting Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing cannabis processing company with multiple SKUs and brands distributed in over 300 retail locations. With continued expansion and increasing operational complexity, they are seeking an Accounting Manager in Hazel Park, MI to bring structure, accuracy, and financial oversight to their accounting function. This individual will report directly to the company’s fractional CFO and play a key role in supporting the organization’s next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

** This position will be on-site daily in Hazel Park, MI**

• Oversee and manage accounts receivable to ensure accuracy across all systems
• Perform monthly reconciliations and ongoing data entry
• Ensure proper accounting allocation tied to correct SKUs and product lines
• Maintain alignment between inventory, sales platforms, and accounting records
• Support and collaborate with the existing AR support team member
• Bring organization and structure to financial processes and reporting
• Assist leadership in maintaining financial discipline and operational accountability
• Adapt to shifting priorities and wear multiple hats as needed in a growing business

• Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online (required)
• Well‑versed in METRC
• Leaf Link experience highly preferred
• Experience in cannabis processing, manufacturing, or multi‑SKU environments preferred
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized with the ability to create structure in a fast‑paced setting
• Comfortable working closely with ownership and executive leadership

• Base salary: $65,000–$70,000 based on experience
