ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST (PART TIME)
Detroit, MI (ONSITE Tues/Wed/Thus)
25 hours/week
$21–$25/hr
QuickSummary:
Need a solid AP pro to jump in fast and keep invoices/payments moving. This is hands‑on invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and payment support. Strong Excel is a must.
What you’ll be doing :- Process and code vendor invoices; ensure approvals and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain vendor info (EFT/ACH, address, W-9/1099)
- Enter invoices in Financial Edge and support check runs/ACH + positive pay
- Handle payment/invoice inquiries and support basic reconciliations/journal entries as needed
- 3+ years recent Accounts Payable experience
- Comfortable working onsite in Detroit Tues/Wed/Thurs (no remote days)
- Intermediate Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS)
- Able to pass background check + drug screen
