We have an immediate need for Internal Auditors available for contract/consulting jobs in the Detroit, Michigan area. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Detroit, Michigan.

Jefferson Wells works with many prominent client companies, ranging from Fortune 500 to mid-size companies, providing Internal Audit project solutions and temporary staffing opportunities. Our consultants are hired as W‑2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis through our regular weekly payroll.

• 5+ years of experience with Internal Auditing.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certifications a plus.
• Industry experience in financial services, manufacturing, automotive, utilities, or healthcare.

• Enterprise and Internal Audit Risk Assessments.
• Audit Planning and Project Management.
• Process and Control Reviews.
• Testing and Workpaper Preparation.
• SOX and Financial Audits.
• Operations Audits.
• Compliance Audits.
• Reporting and Issue Remediation.

• No corp‑to‑corp sub‑contracting – consultants must work as direct W‑2 employees.
• No visa sponsorship – applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
