Compensation: $43/hr - $75/hr

Sanford Rose Associates is partnering with a large financial services organization to identify experienced tax professionals for a highly confidential opportunity. This position will focus exclusively on individual tax returns and is ideal for a CPA or Enrolled Agent who enjoys hands‑on tax work and wants to join a fast‑paced, technology‑forward environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and support individual federal and state tax returns, with a strong emphasis on Form 1040 filings.
  • Apply extensive individual tax knowledge to accurately complete returns and address complex tax situations.
  • Manage a high‑volume workload while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with team members in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.
  • Utilize technology and emerging tools to support efficient and accurate tax preparation.
  • Contribute ideas, expertise, and hands‑on support to help improve processes and strengthen team performance.
Qualifications
  • Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential required.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience preparing individual tax returns.
  • Extensive experience with Form 1040 and individual state tax returns required.
  • Experience preparing returns across multiple states strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of individual tax regulations, requirements, and filing processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Comfortable working within a technology‑forward organization and adapting to new tools and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working in an evolving environment.
