  • Analyze actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Identify financial trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
  • Prepare consolidated financial reports, models, and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager on monthly and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, and financial statements.

  • Coordinate year-end external audits and respond to governmental, audit, and external information requests.
  • Maintain lease-accounting schedules and related journal entries.
  • Monitor accounts-receivable aging and support cash and working-capital management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, U.S. GAAP, and applicable IFRS requirements.
  • Evaluate accounting and reporting processes and implement standardized improvements across the group.
  • Maintain and administer the corporate credit-card program.
  • Partner with operational leadership to improve cost visibility and financial performance.
  • Serve as backup to the CFO and complete special financial projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • At least five years of progressive finance or accounting experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.
  • Hands-on knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, and financial close.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Ability to perform accurately under high-pressure deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency.
  • Experience with fully integrated ERP systems, preferably within a costing or manufacturing environment.
