If you’re organized, detail-driven, and enjoy building clean, dependable financial processes—this role is for you.

Beyond day-to-day accounting, this role serves as a financial thought partner to ownership and leadership—providing visibility into cash flow, margins, risk, and operational performance. You will help leadership understand the story behind the numbers and support informed decision-making across the business.

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Monitor cash flow across entities and proactively flag risks, trends, or constraints
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (as applicable)
  • Identify process improvements to strengthen financial controls, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Help leadership understand margins, cost drivers, and profitability by division
  • Serve as the primary financial point of accountability across entities
What You’ll Do
  • Maintain accurate books in Quick Books Online across multiple entities and divisions
  • Complete monthly reconciliations in QBO
  • Post journal entries, including accruals, corrections, allocations, and reclasses
  • Track and maintain accuracy of liabilities and balance sheet accounts
  • Administer insurance coordination and documentation (General Liability, Workers’ Comp support, health insurance billing coordination)
  • Prepare and submit SERVPRO royalty reports accurately and on time (after reconciliations are complete)
  • Maintain Secretary of State filings and renewals for each entity
  • Provide reporting to leadership, including cash position, A/R, A/P, and key issues
What Success Looks Like
  • Clean, timely month-end close and reconciliations
  • Accurate, on-time royalty reports
  • Organized records with strong follow-through on A/R and A/P
  • Proactive communication when issues or discrepancies arise
Requirements
  • 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (multi-entity experience preferred)
  • Strong Quick Books Online skills, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Experience with A/R, A/P, journal entries, and monthly close
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines consistently
Preferred
  • Construction or trades accounting experience
  • Familiarity with franchise reporting and/or SERVPRO royalty reporting
  • Experience supporting workers’ compensation audits and COI requests
