Staff Accountant

A detail-oriented Staff Accountant who can bring a passion for organization and accounting to our team.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to learn, develop and prepare for future roles

• Preparation and analysis of journal entries and other tasks associated with month-end close
• Perform monthly, quarterly account reconciliations
• Complete monthly and ad hoc reports
• Reconcile daily cash, bank statements and assist with other treasury needs
• Identify fixed assets and use FA system to maintain records
• Support accounts payable
• Calculate and pay monthly sales and use tax payments
• Assist in completing business license and personal property taxes
• Provide support for annual external audit and routine accounting assignments as needed
• Ability to work independently, learn new systems/processes quickly, prioritize tasks/assignments, and establish best practices

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience preferred but not required
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft and Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
