Position Purpose
Administrative Assistant II supporting Trinity Health's Detroit Health Ministry (DHM) located at the Samaritan Center, Detroit. The role provides direct support to the Executive Director of the market, the Medical Director, and facilitates coordination with the Trinity Health Detroit Board, including engagement with the President and their executive assistant. Additional responsibilities include daily administrative office functions such as ordering supplies, preparing materials for meetings, and organizing team‑building events to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the organization.

- Full‑time position, 40 hours per week (Monday‑Thursday 8:30 am–5:00 pm).
- Fully onsite at the Samaritan Center.
- Compensation range: $18.83–$25.00 per hour, with midpoint $22.60, based on verified experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional formal clerical and computer training preferred).
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative office experience.
- Certification or licensure not required.
- Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, minutes, and materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality.
- Organize office workflow and handle routine administrative matters independently.
- Maintain record‑keeping and filing systems, including sensitive personnel, payroll, and operational data.
- Gather, analyze, and prepare reports and data summaries; maintain databases for reporting and quality purposes.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, and travel; prepare materials and record minutes.
- Track budgets and expenditures; identify discrepancies and support financial reporting.
- Screen and manage correspondence, calls and visitors; route information appropriately.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts, including leadership, to coordinate activities.
- Order supplies and support office operations, equipment, and organization.
- Train and support clerical staff; may coordinate and review their work.
