Admin Support (Non-Clinical)

Responsible for processing referrals and scheduling customer visits for all clinical disciplines. Act as liaison between current customers and clinicians as it pertains to service issues. Provide office support and act as a resource for team members, medical staff, and other professionals. Under general supervision following standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities including pre-registration, and workers compensation insurance verification.

Actively contributes to an organizational culture committed to the highest degree of service excellence standards to all customer groups.

Education/Experience

Required:

  • Requires high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Associate's degree or college coursework in business preferred.
  • Requires computer proficiency, the ability to accurately type, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Outlook preferred. Requires strong organization skills, and the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and tasks.
  • Requires strong problem-solving skills to organize the flow of work through the office in an effective manner.
  • Required to extensively utilize computer information systems. Familiarity with clinic environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with detailed information. Requires interpersonal skills to deal effectively both over the telephone and in person with patients, visitors, medical staff, and other clinic and/or hospital personnel.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner to meet clinic staff and patient needs.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work within a team setting and be supportive of team members.
  • Basic computer skills (i.e., knowledgeable opening software/email, navigating on keyboard, logging in and out of computer).
  • Ability to work effectively with populations of diverse backgrounds and ages.
  • Dependable and punctual. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
