The Office Manager role at SVS Vision is a full-time, on-site position located in Detroit, MI. The Office Manager oversees daily office operations, including coordinating administrative activities, supervising office staff, and ensuring efficient workflow to support exceptional customer service. This role manages schedules, maintains records, and ensures office equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly. The Office Manager collaborates with optical and clinical teams, supports front desk operations, and helps resolve customer inquiries and issues in a professional manner.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring compliance with company policies, assisting with basic financial and reporting tasks, and contributing to a positive, organized, and customer-centered work environment.
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in administrative assistance and office administration, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and managing day-to-day office workflows.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment and use common office software and systems.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, with a focus on courteous, timely, and solution-oriented support.
- Previous experience as an office manager, supervisor, or similar role in retail, healthcare, or optical environments is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, invoicing, or office-level financial processes is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, administration, or a related field is an advantage.
