Harvard Resource Solutions/Venteon is seeking an Office / Benefits Administrato
r to provide support in Detroit, MI for an organization providing healthcare benefits and services.

Person will provide administrative, enrollment, billing, and support in the Field Services Department. Work closely with representatives, participants, union representatives, and employer contacts toensure accurate benefit administration and effective communication of plan information.

Position type: Full time, Direct hire, Hybrid Schedule ( 1
-2 days in office, 3-4 days remote)

Excellent benefits package ( zero out of pocket health premiums) and bonus (Prorated for 2026)

Requirements of the Office / Benefits Coordinator:
  • Familiarity with insurance or medical industries is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining detailed benefits enrollment and billing records.
  • 2+ years of experience preparing Participation Agreements, legal documents, contracts, or comparable documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate benefit plans, rules, and requirements to a variety of audiences.
  • Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with participants, union representatives, and employer contacts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, less than 20%.
Duties of the Office / Benefits Administrator Office Administration
  • Anticipate departmental resource and administrative needs to support daily operations.
  • Coordinate office workflow and staffing need to ensure adequate departmental coverage.
  • Prepare documents, reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external use.
  • Maintain office supplies, department files, records, and other administrative materials.
Benefits Administration
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Local Union Officers, Business Agents, Local Union office staff, and Employer Representatives.
  • Provide education on current plan benefits, rules, and requirements.
  • Research participant questions and concerns and provide Field Service Representatives with information and resources to assist with resolution.
  • Prepare Participation Agreements and other related documents for review and execution.
  • Prepare the monthly Board Report.
  • Track enrollment activity for new groups and during benefit enrollment periods.
  • Review billing for new groups to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with plan requirements.
  • Ensure enrollment and participant records are entered and maintained accurately.
