Join our dynamic team at One Ford Place, the corporate headquarters of Henry Ford Health, located in the vibrant Detroit New Center. Our Corporate Services department plays a pivotal role in supporting the administrative and operational functions across the health system. Situated steps away from Amtrak, the QLINE, and the Fisher Buildings, our location offers a blend of downtown energy and convenience.

Whether you're coordinating high-level meetings or managing confidential reports, you'll be at the heart of an organization dedicated to exceptional care and innovation.

Role Overview

As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support under limited supervision, ensuring the smooth execution of conference arrangements, committee activities, and meeting agendas. You will support vice presidents or administrative directors, playing a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and confidentiality of high-level operations within Henry Ford Health.

What You Will Do
  • Coordinate functions associated with conference arrangements, committee activities, and meeting agendas.
  • Prepare and compose a variety of confidential reports, tables, and memorandums.
  • Support high-level administrative details with an in-depth understanding of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to manage and present information effectively.
What You Will Need
  • Associate's Degree in business or a secretarial field from a business school or college, OR G.E.D. equivalent with post-high school classes in business or a secretarial field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressively more responsible related work experience (five to seven years with G.E.D. equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare or corporate administrative setting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare policies and procedures.

Additional Information

This job requires some weekends. When working weekends, days off during the week will be offered.
