Job Description
Job Title:
Business Analyst, Sr.
Location:
Detroit, MI
Contract:
5 months with possible extension
- Provides analytical support to a specific group of customers on business applications, infrastructure, and technology-related activities, with general guidance and coaching.
- Acts as a project team member, specifically on requirements definition and testing activities.
- Provides guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution.
- Assists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications, and platforms.
- Works with application developers and operations personnel to support production applications and customer-specific operations.
- Demonstrates significant creativity.
- Assist with moving framework from Cold Fusion to ASP.NET.
- Assist with creating new applications in C# and ASP.NET and reports to be used by employees throughout the division.
- Assist with maintaining new applications and reports to be used by employees throughout the division.
- Top 3 Required Skills/
Experience: - Experience with MVC architecture.
- Experience with data access layer – Entity Framework.
- Strong programming skills.
- Preferred Skills/
Experience:
Experience with Cold Fusion is a plus. - Education Requirements:
- Senior – Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field such as computer programming, computer science, information technology, or computer engineering.
- Initial contract is for 6 months with the option to extend.
