About the Role
JLL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with advanced expertise in hard services, critical systems management, and client relationship development. This position is ideal for facilities professionals looking to elevate their career by taking on strategic portfolio management responsibilities while maintaining hands‑on oversight of critical building systems.
As our Facilities Manager, you’ll support over 2 million square feet of industrial spaces while serving as a key client liaison. You’ll report to the Senior Facilities Manager and collaborate closely with both Senior and Site Directors to drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and client satisfaction across the portfolio.
Work ScheduleSecond shift (1:30 PM – 10 PM). Weekends required.
Responsibilities- Build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders, translating complex technical issues into clear recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports for senior management and clients.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all systems, maintenance activities, and operational procedures.
- Support emergency preparedness planning and business continuity initiatives.
- Provide guidance and direction to engineering and maintenance staff across assigned properties.
- Support training and professional development initiatives for facilities teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including property management, leasing, and project management.
- Eight or more years of relevant experience in property management.
- Experience managing commercial contracts and budgets.
- Goal‑oriented, passionate about managing a successful team and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Strong vendor management practices.
- Self‑motivated and quick‑thinking with problem‑solving and creative approaches.
- Well‑organized, anticipates future requirements, plans in advance, meets deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to inspire and lead people.
