Proclinical is seeking a Grant Manager to support clinical development efforts in the oncology and healthcare space.
Primary Responsibilities:The successful candidate will oversee complex grant portfolios, ensuring effective planning, budgeting, and communication with stakeholders. You will also utilize project management tools to monitor financial aspects of research grants, subcontracts, consultant agreements, and staffing data. This position requires strong financial forecasting, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to train and mentor junior team members.
Skills & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, a health-related field, finance, or business.
- Experience in project management, research grant or contract management, or finance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Manage complex grant portfolios for a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs).
- Plan, budget, and track project activities while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor financial aspects of multiple research grants, including subcontracts, consultant agreements, and staffing data.
- Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure efficient grant management.
- Provide training to support staff on grant financial and institutional procedures.
- Coach and mentor junior team members as needed.
