Our client is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support business-unit leadership through performance reporting, budgeting assistance, market research, and data-driven analysis. This position will evaluate product and business performance, develop reporting tools, track key metrics, and support strategic initiatives and marketing programs. The ideal candidate can organize complex information, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations for leadership and business partners.
WHATYOU’LL DO
- support the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs for assigned products or product lines.
- Evaluate product and business performance to identify trends and support business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities, emerging trends, and potential process improvements.
- Recommend enhancements to products, operational processes, and business practices.
- Partner with sales and business teams to address product-related concerns and support customer needs.
- Access customer and business systems to generate reports and analyses for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Complete analytical projects and strategic initiatives supporting organizational priorities.
- Prepare accurate and professional presentations for leadership, business partners, clients, and stakeholders.
- Track, maintain, and report key performance indicators, scorecards, and business metrics.
- Support budget development, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.
- Develop and maintain databases, models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Review data for integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Translate data, market conditions, and business performance into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of experience in marketing, business analysis, operations, finance, or a related area.
- Working knowledge of marketing principles, business analysis, reporting, budgeting, and performance measurement.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with databases, reporting tools, dashboards, or business systems is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Sound judgment and the ability to manage projects and responsibilities with general supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, sales teams, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
