I am seeking a highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This full-time role reports to management and plays a critical part in coordinating field activities, managing resources, and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Planning- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and look-ahead plans
- Oversee daily construction operations and maintain accurate daily reports
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and contract documents
- Coordinate workflows to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for field operations
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Lead site meetings and proactively resolve project challenges
- Monitor field costs and ensure work stays within budget
- Optimize workforce productivity and equipment utilization
- Support change order reviews and subcontractor payment validation
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a safety-first culture
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and corporate QC procedures
- Identify and address issues proactively
- Manage punch lists and support timely project closeout
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent (commercial required)
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, field operations, and cost control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and similar tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required; must pass background check and drug screening
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
