  • Prepare detailed estimates for a variety of project pursuits, including hard-bid, negotiated, design-build, and conceptual opportunities
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits to support accurate pricing and project understanding
  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Perform quantity take-offs and organize pricing data to develop comprehensive estimates
  • Develop detailed scopes of work for subcontractors and project execution teams
  • Solicit and evaluate bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Coordinate with trade partners to clarify scope, pricing, and project requirements
  • Prepare estimate summaries, bid analyses, general conditions, and budget reports
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of competitive bid proposals
  • Develop preliminary schedules and identify critical project milestones and sequencing
  • Support preconstruction initiatives, budgeting efforts, and value engineering exercises
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams throughout the preconstruction process
  • Promote company culture, values, and commitment to quality and safety
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
  • 4+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience within the construction industry
  • Experience across a range of commercial construction sectors and project delivery methods
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, trade scopes, scheduling, and project risk analysis
  • Proven ability to develop cost-saving and value engineering solutions while maintaining quality standards
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated knowledge of estimating best practices and preconstruction processes
