Senior Project Controls SchedulerLocation:
Detroit, Michigan (on-site, local candidates preferred). This role leads all aspects of scheduling and schedule control for a large construction project. Key responsibilities include developing, reviewing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules; evaluating schedule impacts; supporting recovery planning; providing schedule reporting to project leadership; walking the project site to validate progress and ensure schedule accuracy. The project schedule will be highly detailed and cost‑ and resource‑loaded.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or another engineering discipline, or a related field.
- 15+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience.
- Expert-level experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
- Extensive experience supporting large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or mission‑critical construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing complex CPM schedules, including critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Experience reviewing contractor schedules and providing recommendations to project leadership.
- Ability to lead schedule coordination meetings and communicate effectively with owners, contractors, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs.
- Applicable professional certifications such as PSP or PMI‑SP are preferred.
Physical: standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
Compensation$130,866 - $170,943 a year ($130,649 - $170,193 range depending on experience, skills, and location).
