Position SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of multiple commercial construction projects. This role serves as the primary client contact and provides leadership to Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and project support staff while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Lead all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Manage projects ranging from $10M–$60M in contract value
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, cash flow projections, and forecasting
- Oversee contract administration, change management, procurement, and subcontractor performance
- Lead Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings
- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during budgeting and planning
- Monitor project financial performance, including cost reporting and profit projections
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven experience managing projects valued between $10 million and $60 million
- Experience with negotiated, CM at Risk, Design-Build, and/or Design-Assist delivery methods
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls
