Overview
The Construction Estimator will be responsible for Estimating and Pre-Construction for a variety of commercial and government construction projects. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work.
Location:
Detroit, MI
• Full-time
- Estimate construction costs for commercial and government projects as part of pre-construction activities.
- Prepare cost estimates and support documentation to assist in bid decisions.
- Compile estimates of cost on weld and assembly systems, special parts or products as a basis for pricing.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate take-offs and cost projections.
- Senior Estimator (Construction) with a minimum of 5 years of estimating experience within the commercial construction industry.
- Must have engineering knowledge and be able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
