About the Role

At Adoring Pet Funeral Home & Cremation Services, we provide compassionate, environmentally mindful aftercare services for beloved pets. We are currently looking for a Client Care Specialist who combines heartfelt empathy with strong sales capabilities to support grieving families and partner veterinary clinics.

As the initial touchpoint for many of our clients, you will serve a critical role—answering urgent calls, coordinating services, and ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and care. This is a fast-paced role that requires emotional intelligence, strong communication, and the ability to effectively convert inquiries into scheduled services. Experience with Microsoft Office products and other business technology is a must.

Your Responsibilities

Call Support & Communication

• Respond promptly and compassionately to calls from families in distress, including deceased pet pickup requests.
• Serve as a reliable contact for veterinary clinics, offering timely updates and service-related information.
• Provide informative, reassuring guidance on Adoring Pet’s offerings.
• Clearly explain the benefits of our services, helping families and clinics choose the right care.
• Use active listening and a consultative approach to encourage service bookings (e.g., mobile euthanasia, aftercare, or memorial items).
• Achieve or surpass conversion goals through warm, professional engagement.
• Communicate with on-call team members to arrange timely pickups or service appointments.
• Compassionately handle deceased pets upon arrival to our facility. Assist on home and clinic calls for service as needed.
• Follow up to confirm successful hand-offs and completion of scheduled services.
• Use internal systems to schedule services with precision and care.
• Maintain detailed call logs and track service outcomes to support team operations.
• Deliver compassionate, calm, and supportive communication in all client interactions.
• Demonstrate resilience and empathy during sensitive and emotionally charged conversations.
• Identify urgent or complex issues, escalating appropriately to supervisors or team leads.
• Adhere to service protocols to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
