Project Architect; Licensed - MI

Overview

Urban Alterscape Inc. is a boutique design and general contracting firm specializing in restaurant, retail, wellness, and community spaces. We are seeking a registered architect to lead projects through all phases of design and construction - from early concept and creative development to overseeing implementation in the field. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape meaningful spaces and have real control over your ideas from drawing to built form.

Work directly with our general contracting arm to gain new insight into design feasibility / constructability, value engineering, and innovative solutions to challenging conditions in exiting buildings.

• Lead projects through all phases of design and construction—from concept development to field implementation.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and builders to shape design outcomes.
• Work with the general contracting arm to assess design feasibility, constructability, value engineering, and innovative solutions to conditions in existing buildings.

• Registered architect (licensed).
• Available full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours per week preferred) with at least three days at the office.
• Ideal candidates are collaborative, design-driven, and excited to work closely with clients, consultants, and builders.
