Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Faculty, Rank to be Determined - Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):

This position is critical to provide adequate, high quality teachings to students, residents, and fellows on the labor and delivery unit, as well as didactics and patient care, since we are severely short staffed with general ob/gyn faculty. Our department must maintain the adequate number of clinical faculty to be able to deliver core teaching and mentoring to all our learners.

The physician will participate in the teaching program of medical students, residents and fellows of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Participate in scholarly activities in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Physician must have a MD degree.

Valid Michigan Medical License.

Board Certified or Board Eligible by ABOG in Obstetrics and

Gynecology, with clinical experience and academic vision.

Rank commensurate with credentials.
