We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine professional to provide expert onsite coverage at a leading Children's Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting all X-ray, ultrasound, STAT CT, and MRI cases. Your expertise will ensure accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing significantly to patient care. The role involves flexible onsite coverage, including one week per month, with shifts typically scheduled from Monday to Friday in the late afternoon/evenings, as well as coverage on weekends and overnight calls.
You will be expected to come in for fluence in reading cases and providing support during peak times, with shift options including Mon-Fri 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and weekend coverage from Saturday or Sunday and overnight calls.
Required Skills:
- Pediatric Radiology fellowship training
- CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI imaging
- Strong attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills
Skills:
- Experience with Nuclear Medicine imaging
- Prior work in a hospital-based pediatric radiology environment
- Proficiency with advanced imaging software and PACS systems
- Prior participation in case logs and documentation
Education and Experience:
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
- CAQ certification or eligibility
- At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric imaging
- Availability for onsite coverage as described
- Clean malpractice history
- Valid medical licensure and certifications
- Ability to travel and accommodate shift schedules as needed
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
