Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic imaging interpretation in pediatric radiology, including X-rays, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI cases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage onsite coverage across various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Participate in after-hours on-call responsibilities, reading and interpreting urgent imaging studies.
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all safety and quality protocols.
- Pediatric Radiology fellowship training.
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Pediatric Radiology (CAQ preferred).
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, US, CT, and MRI studies with a focus on pediatric patients.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication skills tailored to a pediatric care setting.
- Experience with Nuclear Medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of fluoroscopy (FL) procedures.
- Familiarity with advanced pediatric imaging techniques.
- Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse patient populations.
Education and Experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of a diagnostic radiology residency.
- Pediatric radiology fellowship training.
- CAQ certification or eligibility.
- Prior experience in a dedicated pediatric radiology department.
- Availability for onsite coverage during specified shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid medical license and state-specific approvals.
- Ability to handle high-volume, urgent cases efficiently.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and stay current with emerging pediatric radiology practices.
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
