Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Piano Teacher to introduce children (ages 3-12) to the joy of music through engaging and age-appropriate piano lessons. This part-time role will involve planning and teaching beginner piano classes, encouraging students to develop basic music skills, and fostering a love of music.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach basic piano techniques and music theory to young children.
Plan and prepare lessons that are fun, interactive, and tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
Introduce students to musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch, and melody.
Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Communicate with parents about their child’s progress in piano lessons.
Organize and participate in small music recitals or performances (when appropriate).
Maintain a clean and organized music area.
Qualifications:
Proven experience teaching music to young children (previous experience teaching piano is a plus).
A degree in music or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
Ability to work collaboratively with the daycare team and engage with parents.
Strong communication skills.
Background check required.
