Job Summary:

Job Summary

* Assists Director of Special Education in the development of the Extended School Year Program (ESY)

* Assists the Director of Special Education in the selection and hiring of teachers and program paraprofessionals

* Coordinates staffing assignments and student groupings

* Assists the Director of Special Education in the preparation of all necessary paperwork

* Coordinates and supervises the daily operations of the programs

* Works directly with students as needed

* Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education

Qualifications:

* Michigan teaching certificate with Special Education Endorsement

* Supervisory experience strongly preferred

* Experience working in classrooms

* Previous experience working Extended School Year Services

* Experience working with students with disabilities such as Autism, Multiple Impairments, and/or Cognitive Impairments

Working Conditions:

Salary: $7,500.00
