Position: System Nursing Education Specialist-Full Time-Days-Detroit

* Responsible for supporting, developing, and delivering high-quality nursing educational content across Henry Ford Health.

* Supports department leadership in setting education goals and milestones.

* Partners with colleagues and stakeholders across the system to develop and deploy a variety of learning and development programs to be used both locally and systemwide.

* Leads the development of system courses and projects to achieve strategic business objectives.

* Responsible for conducting education and training sessions in person and virtually in multiple venues.

* Flexibility to allow for travel to Henry Ford Health locations.

* Leads the evaluation of individual projects and supports the monitoring and evaluation of the overall education program.

* Position: 40 hours per week

* Shift: Day Shifts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

* Master's degree in nursing required.

* Current Michigan RN licensure required, or ability to obtain Michigan licensure.

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and education, educational design, and delivery.

* Competence in curriculum or program design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

* Experience facilitating courses and creating training materials.

* Ability to interpret and assess training and development needs.

* Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.

* Must be self-directed, proactive, and able to work independently.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

* Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
