Duties and Responsibilities:
* Write and facilitate professional development around effective intervention instruction.
* Support in providing vision and direction for reading intervention instruction for all NHA schools.
* Model effective literacy and intervention instruction.
* Write and execute lesson plans, assessments, or other instructional routines/frameworks.
* Work to enhance teacher quality through direct coaching at schools around effective instruction, data analysis, and assessment administration.
* Research best practices with regards to reading intervention curriculum, professional development and student learning.
* Ability to travel as required (approximately 2-5 overnights per month).
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Education is required, Master's Degree in preferred.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience preferred.
* Experience with Reading Mastery and Corrective Reading instructional programs.
* Experience writing and presenting professional development.
* Experience coaching teachers and/or instructional leaders.
* Ability to work independently.
* Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Use technology for collaboration.
* Function within general assignment of responsibilities.
