CDL-A Instructor; Day Shift

The Detroit Training Center is looking for additional instructors to join our growing team. Our goal is to teach, mentor and empower our students to acquire employment in the growing trucking field.

• Instructors must hold a CDL Class A Unrestricted License.
• 7+ years' experience of CMV driving experience preferred.
• Experience in teaching or training is a plus.
• Clean driving record. CMV accident free for the past 4 years.
• Experience with 53 ft. trailers is a must.
• Backing skills required: straight line, Offset Backing, 90-degree Alley Dock.
• Driving skills required:
  Ability to double clutch manual transmissions.
• Must be willing to teach both road and yard/range skills.
• Some instructors may also teach in the classroom as needed.
• This job requires patience as well as great communication and motivational skills.

Full Time:
Day Shift

• Monday-Friday:
  Day Shift - 7:30 a.m.
  
  - 4:30 p.m.
• Saturdays: 8:00 a.m.
  
  - 4:00 p.m.

Part time: considered. Tell us your hours of availability. We may be able to make that work.
