School Psychologist, Part Time

Salary

Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.

(.50 FTE);  School Year

• Master's Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology.
• Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist; will consider for internship year.
• Full‑time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary School.
• Building coordinator of Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data.
• Facilitate building‑level Section 504 evaluations and meetings.
• Participate in building‑level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations with strong diagnostic skills and experience participating in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process.
• Ability to take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP).
• Building crisis support team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective collaboration with parents, educational staff and other professionals.
• Experience facilitating the IEP process.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis.
• Trained in, or willing to be trained in non‑violent crisis intervention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
