Salary
Appropriate placement on the current Teacher's Master Agreement.
School Psychologist Posting(.50 FTE); School Year
Qualifications- Master's Degree or Ed. Specialist in School Psychology.
- Full approval as a Michigan School Psychologist; will consider for internship year.
- Full‑time Elementary School Psychologist at Pine Knob Elementary School.
- Building coordinator of Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) with a strong understanding of MTSS and interpretation of data.
- Facilitate building‑level Section 504 evaluations and meetings.
- Participate in building‑level special education evaluations under IDEA and Section 504 evaluations with strong diagnostic skills and experience participating in the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team process.
- Ability to take a lead role in functional behavioral analysis (FBA) and development of comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIP).
- Building crisis support team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective collaboration with parents, educational staff and other professionals.
- Experience facilitating the IEP process.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis.
- Trained in, or willing to be trained in non‑violent crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
