Position: Learning Specialist (K-12) – Career Growth & Inclusive Education

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting assessments to identify students learning needs and challenges

Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to support students' academic growth

Providing direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs

Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments

Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed

Participating in team meetings and contributing to students' educational plans

Skills and

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field

Michigan state certification as a Special Education Teacher or Learning Specialist Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting

Knowledge of project-based teaching strategies and accommodations for diverse learners

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of students
