Senior Director, Jewish Learning and Educational Strategy The Position

Repair is looking for an engaging and visionary rabbi and educator, strategist, project manager, and self-starter who will implement and build on Repair’s Jewish educational strategy, ensuring our Jewish service movement delivers impactful Jewish experiences for participants, staff, and lay leaders.

As Repair’s Senior Director of Jewish Learning and Educational Strategy, you are equally passionate about social impact as you are about making service a normative part of Jewish life and expression.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop service as a meaningful Jewish practice. Leading a small but mighty team of educators, you will lead cross-functionality across the organization with Jewish educators from across our organization, our partners, and lay leaders to train hundreds to engage hundreds of thousands in meaningful Jewish service. You will inspire and deepen participants’ connection through compelling Jewish service learning, supporting them to ask essential questions about values, the role of service in our lives, and how service can be a transformative Jewish experience.

And you bring issue-area knowledge into your educational approach, helping participants connect Jewish values to the real-world challenges we’re serving to address together. Repair utilizes a four-part pedagogy that incorporates issue area education, Jewish education, hands education and service, and your role will meaningfully contribute to the successful implementation of that pedagogy.

The Senior Director of Jewish Learning and Educational Strategy reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer with a dotted line to the CEO.
