Simulation Lab Educator

The Part‑Time Healthcare Simulation Educator is directly responsible for developing and implementing simulation experiences across the human life span. Simulation experiences are to reflect both discipline‑specific learning outcomes as well as multidisciplinary learning outcomes for all of the health programs. The role requires operating all simulation equipment in the Clinical Simulation Lab, ensuring accreditation standards are met, and collaborating with the coordination and scheduling of simulation and skill lab rooms.

The educator carries out structured learning sessions on requested topics, provides tutoring, and requires flexibility in scheduling including evenings and weekends.

• Prepare and administer meaningful learning experiences across multiple disciplines by incorporating low, medium, and high‑fidelity simulation to augment student practice.
• Ensure high‑fidelity equipment functions properly and refer for maintenance and upgrades to prolong equipment life.
• Maintain and update case scenarios to ensure currency in practice.
• Provide structured learning sessions in collaboration with faculty to meet student competency and success needs.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge; major(s) required:
  Nursing.
• 3‑7 years of related experience.
• Current, unrestricted license or certification in a healthcare discipline relevant to assigned simulations.
