Position Summary:
The Principal is responsible for ensuring rigorous CTE content, core-academic standards-aligned to teaching and learning, while establishing and maintaining a positive culture for students, staff, and families. The Principal manages all aspects of the school-level budgeting process, as well as efforts to drive school improvement and oversees daily school operations. The Principal supervises and evaluates school personnel and provides regular feedback and professional learning opportunities to drive improvement.
The Principal plays a key role in ensuring that students earn career-ready diplomas and credentials aligned with the District's High School Redesign strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master
¿ s Degree (inclusive of 20 semester hours in School Administration, Supervision, Curriculum, and School Finance) - State of Michigan Administrator Certification
- Must possess a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate for the level being sought
- Previous experience as a CTE occupational teacher at the secondary or post-secondary level preferred
