In accordance with the Agreement between Detroit Federation of Teachers (DFT) and the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Detroit, the following vacancy is announced.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years or (8000 hours) work experience and extensive knowledge-base of the Aviation/Aeronautics industry. Must be able to verify a minimum of four (4) years of recent and relevant occupational experience in the field of Aviation/Aeronautics. The experience must be within six (6) years of application. Competency-based curriculum development experience desired. The right candidate must be student-focused and foster a positive student-learning environment.
Valid Vocational Teaching Certificate, Interim Occupation Education Certificate, Full Vocational Authorization, or Occupation Education Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement for vocational curriculum area required.
