Position Summary Seeking a collaborative teaching team member to empower students to reach their full potential and achieve academic success.
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignments.
- Must have mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position and possess a valid Michigan driver’s license.
- Must pass a criminal history background investigation conducted by the Michigan State Police (MSP) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
- Teaches district approved curriculum.
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations at times designated.
- Plans an equitable program of study based on current teaching methods and educational pedagogy that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
- Creates a culture of learning and is inclusive of all students.
- Fulfills student IEPs and 504 plans.
- Evaluates student academic and social growth using formative and summative assessments.
- Follows applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.
- Other duties as assigned by Administration.
