MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our team. In this part-time role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students. Your efforts will be crucial in helping students achieve their full potential through targeted instruction and intervention.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assisting in the implementation of MTSS strategies to support students' learning needs.
• Collaborating with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to educators and administrators.
• Supporting classroom management and assisting in maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education requirement (one of the following):

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college, or
• College Board's SAT – Must score at least 480 on evidence-based reading and writing, and 530 on math, or
• ETS Parapro Assessment – A passing score of 460 is required

Preferred:

• Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Education
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
