The Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology at Wayne State University School of Medicine is searching for an outstanding virologist for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.

All qualified candidates in the field of virology will be considered, the search is targeting researchers studyingfundamental and applied problems in virology associated with humandisease.

Candidates will be expected to establish a high-impact,extramurally funded research program and to participate in graduate and medical virology teaching. A competitive laboratory start-uppackage will be provided.
