POSITION:
Special Education Paraprofessional
START DATE:
Immediately
- school year potential schedule:
- Full school days: 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
- Early release days: 7:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (with ½ hour lunch break)
- ½ school days: 7:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
- Highly recommended to possess one of the following requirements:
- Associates degree
- Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours at a college or university
- Pass the ETS Para Pro Assessment (minimum score of 460)
- Or successful completion of test in first 90 days
- Ability to meet and work well with people of all ages
- Establish warm and supportive relationships with children on a group and individual basis
- Record of good attendance and punctuality
- One on One Aide
- Duties will be adjusted as students’ needs change
- Other duties as assigned by building principals
