Pupil Accounting Analyst

POSITION: District Pupil Accounting Analyst - Responsible for the generation and maintenance of computer records for the purpose of state funding, prepares, verifies, and submits student/staff data for

required state and federal reports

District employees must submit a resume and complete an in-district employee application form

(available at school offices)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Schools Administrative Student Information (Power School) and related databases preferred.
  • Power School Certification preferred (or willingness to be trained for certification).

SALARY: Based on experience and qualifications (year-round position)

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and train building level personnel and new employees in the use of Power School and Pupil Accounting
  • Responsible for Pupil Accounting/State reports
  • Responsible for Civil Rights Data Collection, Teacher Student Data Link, Early Childhood Collection, Seat Time Waiver Reporting, NWEA Rosters, School Infrastructure Database (SID) reporting
  • Troubleshoot Power School in each building and resolve related user problems
  • Perform all Power School updates/uploads on the system
  • Provide support to the Technology Director as required
  • Stay abreast of on-line (list-serve) field problems within the district and outside of the district.
  • Serve as the contact person for software for Power School and related products
  • Attend Power School and Pupil Accounting user meetings
  • Attend ongoing certification training as required
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Develop and maintain organized, efficient, office procedures
  • Be knowledgeable of district and building policies and procedures
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by the administrator
