Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Faculty, Rank To Be Determined, Clinical
- Department of Pathology at its Detroit campus location.

• Develop course level learning objectives that align with institutional competency domains.
• Collaborate with other course directors to ensure horizontal and vertical Integration of the curriculum.
• Develop and deliver pathology and pathophysiology content within the preclerkship courses. Teaching in other courses within your area(s) of expertise.
• Facilitating small groups.
• Develop and Implement learner assessments.
• Engage in medical education research and related scholarly work. Participate and contribute to various WSUSOM academic committees.
• Experience in organizing and facilitating small groups, ability to use modem technology to engage learners in the classroom and remotely, knowledge in multiple modes of assessments, and interest in educational scholarship is highly preferred.

Collaborate with instructional designers, OAACQI, discipline directors, and content experts to ensure alignment among learning objectives, instructional methods, and assessments. Determine course content, sequencing, and scheduling each academic year. Ensure incorporation of USMLE-relevant content, institutional competencies, and current best practices. Develop and refine clinical cases, learning activities, and instructional resources. Coordinate integration with concurrent curricular threads, including clinical skills, ethics, evidence-based medicine, biostatistics, imaging, and other longitudinal courses.

Continuously evaluate and improve course content and structure based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.

• MD or PhD in Pathology
• Valid Medical License for MD degree
• Experience in Medical Education
• Faculty rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
