Job Details:

Title:

Desktop Support/Field Service Technician/Computer Driving Technician.

Location:

MOONACHIE, NJ (we hire for many locations in the US).

Type of Job:
Long term Contract / Contract to permanent.

Job Role/Duties:

• Drive to various customer locations from the pickup parts location.
• Visit both business offices and residential homes to repair, troubleshoot, and break‑fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Use your own car to travel to customer sites.
• Work primarily with Dell products – prior experience is a plus.
• Travel within a radius of 50–70 miles from the pickup parts location.
• Maintain a professional manner of speaking and attire.
• Be ready for overtime work and extensive driving (approximately 300 miles per week).

Required Skills:

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training or expired status is also accepted).
• Dell or other manufacturer certifications are a plus.
• Good experience working on laptops and desktops is mandatory.
• Experience with break/fix is required.

IMPORTANT POINTS:

• Background check and driving record review will be required once the job is offered.
• Completion of Dell certification training (online) is required – free of charge.
• Contract agreement terms and conditions apply.
• Pay will be paid biweekly for approved hours.
• Mileage will be reimbursed.
• Plan for a backup vehicle if your car breaks down.
