Simulation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Simulation Engineer for a job with our automotive client in Detroit, MI. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4+ years of experience on Simulation, Plant Sim or Simul8, with a background in discrete simulation on assembly/final assembly.

Rate Range: $45/hr to $55/Hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Plant Sim - Siemens product and Simul
8.

Someone with at least 3 years in auto space

Exp doing a simulation, taking an existing simulation, doing changes, presenting

Basic Excel / PowerPoint knowledge to present

SIMUL8- software they use

Plant

SIM - experience is a BONUS (they take models from SIMULATE to Plant Sim)

Industrial Engineering is preferred

Simulation of plant flow - throughput

Building a model of the assembly process - three to four years of the product cycle
