Excellent opportunity on offer for an experienced Corrugated / Fiber Packaging Design Engineer looking to join a globally recognized leader in packaging innovation, where you will help spearhead a new, centrally focused design team with clear progression opportunities into senior and management roles.

Currently in rapid expansion mode, acquiring businesses worldwide to remain at the forefront of sustainable packaging innovation, they are now seeking a high-calibre Corrugated / Fiber Design Engineer to lead from the front and make a tangible impact within their growing specialist team.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the design process, from CAD development to prototype and sign-off, ensuring all specifications and KPIs are met. You will collaborate directly with customers, approving work and delivering tailored solutions, while playing a key role in optimizing designs for cost, protection, and sustainability. As part of your onboarding, you will receive one-to-one training with an industry expert and will travel to California to collaborate with design colleagues and leadership.

The Role- Frequent Travel
- Designing corrugated packaging solutions from concept through to prototype and approval
- Collaborating with customers to ensure performance, cost, and sustainability goals are achieved

- Experienced Corrugated / Fiber Packaging Design Engineer
- Background in packaging, pulp, paper, or materials engineering
- Proficient with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Artios
CAD, IronCAD, or equivalent) - Strong understanding of corrugated board grades, flute profiles, and prototyping
- Ambitious professional seeking career progression into senior or leadership roles
