The salary range for this position is broad because we consider candidates with a wide range of experience levels. The salary will vary based on factors such as location and industry benchmarks.

To support customers with Bodolaser. Responsible for offering technical advice and providing after‑sales service in the field. The ideal candidates should have 3+ years of experience on automated CNC machines or fiber laser machines.

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and provide direct support for laser machines through phone, email, chat, and on‑site visits.
• Assist personnel and customers with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
• Track technical issues and incoming requests from customers.
• Manage schedules and follow up with customers in the territory to ensure optimal usage of the lasers.
• Perform mechanical repair on laser machines at customer locations and determine if the repair requires special resources or parts.
• Understand layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
• Develop and maintain a replacement parts list and ensure the parts are in stock by communicating with customers, staff, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Identify safety issues on the machines.
• Provide customer training.
• Write and compose service reports and expense reports.
• Perform failure‑mode analyses and make upgrade recommendations.
• Assist with final integration and commissioning of complex automation projects as needed.
• Assist with heavy mechanical moves, such as loading/unloading equipment onto trucks when required.
• Travel regularly within assigned territories.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, automation engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited university, or equivalent with 2+ years of experience on automated CNC machines.
• Recent experience installing, repairing, and diagnosing automated CNC machines.
• 3+ years of related experience on automated CNC machines or fiber laser machines.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and test equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and remote communications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Mandarin Chinese reading and speaking ability is a plus.
• Preferred to reside in the NC area.
• Self‑driven and responsible.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to travel as required (local and domestic).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
