Key Responsibilities:Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive electric motor and/or actuator industry.
- Strong background in product engineering with solid knowledge of motor design principles.
- Proven experience in motor and actuator development, including design validation, testing, and product industrialization.
- Ability to read, review, and modify engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of automotive development processes such as APQP, DFMEA, DVP&R, DVPR, and SPC.
- Experience with NVH and EMC related to electric motors or actuators.
- Fluent in English;
Chinese language skills are an advantage due to global supplier and customer interaction.
- Support motor and actuator development projects from concept phase through validation and safe launch.
- Review, assess, and update motor and component drawings in collaboration with design teams.
- Develop and maintain DVP&R documentation aligned with customer and internal requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor validation and testing activities with internal and external laboratories.
- Ensure proper execution of tests and perform detailed result analysis with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and release technical documentation including DFMEA, DVP&R, and other project deliverables.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and program management teams.
- Lead resolution of technical issues related to design, validation, NVH, and EMC until product release.
- Ensure compliance with product development standards and audit requirements.
- Collaborate within a global environment across North America, Asia, and other regions.
