Our services include MIG, TIG, stick, and pulse MIG welding, along with fabricating handrails, ladders, railings, fencing, and decorative iron gates.
We work with steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and FRP materials, ensuring precision fabrication and timely delivery. Additionally, Zak Welding offers sandblasting and powder coating services to meet diverse client needs.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer located in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The Project Engineer will oversee project planning, manage project schedules, and collaborate with team members to ensure successful execution. Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting engineering designs, creating project specifications, managing project budgets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Project Engineer will also act as the point of communication between clients and internal teams to guarantee alignment on project goals.
Qualifications- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Strong skills in Project Management, Project Planning, and Project Engineering
- Background in Structural Engineering and related technical expertise
- Excellent Communication abilities to collaborate with clients and teams
- Experience in structural steel or metal fabrication is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to work on-site and effectively manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency with relevant software for project planning and engineering
